Account and data deletion

Effective date: September 26, 2026

Here you can request the deletion of your Colab CRM account and of the personal data associated with it, or of specific data only. This applies equally to the web version and to the Colab CRM mobile app (com.colabai.crm) for Android and iOS. Follow these steps:

  1. Send an email to admin@colabai.tech with the subject "Data deletion", indicating: your full name; the email address or phone number associated with your data; if you have a Colab CRM account, the name of the workspace; and whether you want to delete your entire account or a description of the data you want to delete.
  2. From the mobile app: you can also start the request without writing anything, under Settings → Account and privacy → Request account deletion. Your email client will open with the request already drafted.
  3. Verification and confirmation: we will verify your identity to protect your information and confirm receipt of the request through the same channel.
  4. What is deleted: your user account and its credentials, your profile data, the notification identifier of your devices and the personal data associated with the account.
  5. Deletion timeframe: we will process the deletion within a maximum of 30 CALENDAR DAYS from the verification of the request.
  6. Data that is retained: we may retain certain information for the time required by applicable legal, accounting and tax obligations; once those periods have elapsed, such information will be deleted or anonymized.
  7. Meta Platform Data: this request includes the deletion of the Platform Data obtained from Meta platforms (WhatsApp Business Platform, Messenger and Instagram) that is under our control through the Meta app "colab-crm". This data includes, as applicable: the content and metadata of the messages, the phone number and profile name of the end customer, the WhatsApp phone number ID and account ID (WABA ID), the message ID, the Messenger Page-Scoped ID (PSID) and the Instagram-Scoped ID (IGSID).
  8. End customers of companies using Colab CRM: if your data was processed by a company that uses Colab CRM, that company is the Data Controller. You may request deletion directly from that company or from COLAB in its capacity as Data Processor; in the latter case, we will channel the request together with the responsible company.
  9. Accounts that belong to a workspace: if your account belongs to a company workspace, deleting your user account does not by itself delete the workspace data, which is the responsibility of the company that owns it.
